Okay, so between working and making orders I have yet to make my Halloween costume. This is a biggie- Halloween is my absolutely favorite holiday in the whole wide world. I'm not even kidding about this; I don't like Christmas or even my own birthday half as much as I LOVE Halloween!
That said, I intend to go as my Vampire: The Masquerade Live-Action Role Play (LARP) character Margaret Doyle this year. Which means I have a corset, a dress, and a jacket to make. By the next game meeting. Also known as THIS SATURDAY. Meaning that, on top of having to go to work every day, I have today (Monday) through Friday to complete all three pieces. I am officially insane, I swear.... I may forgo the dress in favor of an existing skirt/top combo just to keep my head from exploding, but the jacket and corset must be completed by Saturday morning.
Why Saturday morning? Because my friend is getting married at 10:30, and I'm gonna need to have everything done since I'm helping her with hair and makeup before the ceremony, and immediately after am heading to my game. On Sunday (it's the Circle of Life, insert Disney music here) I have a memorial for another friend who passed away, and I may or may not have the opportunity to sew. And then, of course, Monday is the best day of my whole year, Halloween itself.
I think I'm screwed. No more orders will be taken from now until November 1st. I need a personal life too, you know!
